The welding manipulator is an automatic welding equipment that meet many working requirements by lifting and extending the boom, and rotating the column. The boom end can be furnished with SAW head to do welding on tanks by working together with rotators or positioners. As the welding is automatic, it can save time and labor cost. So this automatic welding equipment is widely used in such industries as wind tower, boiler, chemical industry, shipping yard, automobile, metal structures, etc.
1. Our welding manipulator is composed of column, guide plate, boom, lift reducer, weight balancer, motorized sliding board, operation platform and manual lock system.
2. The column, boom and guide block are welded and strength released. The guide rails are made of Mn steel. After being welded, the column and boom are heat treated, and fine machined to assure precision.
3. The upper/bottom and left/right guide wheels are designed with eccentric axis structure. By adjusting the wheels, the gap in the guide rails can be adjusted to compensate the attrition of rails.
4. All shafts and axes (include shaft bolts) are thermal refined. Gears and movable parts are hardened on surface.
5. Boom elevation is driven by motor with break, worm wheel reducer, chain and chain wheel. Boom extension is driven by motor through worm wheel reducer-driven gear and rack.
6. Gun adjustment unit is designed at the front end of the boom.
7. Column and its base are connected by slew bearing. The column can rotate ±180° by manual.
8. The rectangular guides on the column and boom are made of 16Mn material for high intensity.
9. This welding manipulator is equipped with safe covers, electric control system and Schneider inverter.
