Joining pipes or attaching pipefittings such as flanges and valves is a problematic task from an executionperspective due to the 360-degree work plane. Without the use of a tool such asthe welding positioner, the artisan may have to constantly move around andunder the pipe to complete the joint, which is not conducive to good qualitywelding.
